Who are the five bowlers who showed miracles in batting as well?

As such, cricket is considered a batsman's game. People also enjoy watching batsmen with sixes on bowlers' balls. But now in the game of cricket there is an equal fight between the batsman and the bowler. But do you know that there were some bowlers who showed off their charisma even in batting? Now you will say which are the bowlers who could also bat? Today we are going to tell you about those five bowlers who surprised everyone with their batting performance just for one day.

Ajit Agarkar

The first name in this list comes from India bowler Ajit Agarkar, who took more than 300 wickets in international cricket. Ajit also holds the record for the fastest 50 wickets from India. Ajit took 50 wickets in just 23 ODIs. But do you know that he scored a historic century in the Lord's Test for India against England in 2002. If you feel this less then I have a question. Do you know who has the record of scoring fastest half-century in the ODI from India? Perhaps you have the name of Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli or Virender Sehwag. But for your information, we tell you that this record is in the name of Ajit Agarkar. In 2000, Ajit Agarkar scored 67 runs in just 25 balls in a Test match against Zimbabwe. In that innings, he had scored a halfcentury in just 21 balls. His batting can never be doubted.

Jason Gillespie

If you are a cricket lover or a cricket fan, then you must know about the nightwatchman in a test match. If a batsman is out shortly before the end of the day in the test match, the captain sends a bowler to bat. So that he can take out the remaining overs. Another name in this list comes of Australian fast bowler Jason Gillespie, who has taken 400 more international wickets for Australia. He was also sent by captain as night Watchman in the 2006 Test match between Bangladesh and Australia. But the next day he has played such an innings, which can only be expected from any batsman. Jason scored 201 runs in 425 balls and formed a 320-run partnership with Matthew Hayden. Nobody thought anyone could do it. This is the biggest innings ever played by night Watchman.

Wasim akram

The third number comes from Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram. You all will definitely be aware of his bowling. The dangerous pair of Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram is famous across the world. Wasim Akram has taken more than 900 wickets in international cricket. But Wasim Akram has also registered his name in batting. When he scored 257 runs for Pakistan in 1996, which included 12 sixes, which is still a world record. Wasim Akram, batting number eight, scored 257 to take the team score to 500. This is the highest score made by the number eight batsman.

Aston agar

The next name comes from the young Australian player Aston Agar. As such, he made his place in Australia's Test team as a spinner. But he showed his batting ability in the first match.
When Australia was in a difficult situation in the first Test of 2013, Agar, who came to bat number 11, surprised everyone. It seemed that Australia would only reach 150. Astor smashed a 98-run stand to form a 163-run partnership with Philippe Hughes for the final wicket, bringing the team's score to 280. This is the biggest innings ever played by a No. 11 player that Aston Ager played in his debut match.

Dmitri Mascarenhas

England spinner is the last name in this list is Dimitri Mascarenhas. Very few of you have heard his name. Born in Sri Lanka and playing cricket for England, Dimitri, despite being a bowler, showed a unique feat in batting. Even though he has not been able to make his place in the international for a long time, the team will always remember one of his performance reasons. This is the matter of 2007 ODIs being played between England and India. England batted first as it reached the last over. Rahul Dravid asked Yuvraj Singh to bowl the last over and Dimitri was in front. Dimitri's catch on the first ball was dropped by Piyush Chawla. In the remaining 5 games after that, Dimitri played brilliant shot on every single delivery and all five were outside the boundary line. 30 runs in that over with 5 sixes. Yuvraj Singh had looted 30 runs in that over, which made England's score reach 300. No one had expected such a performance at all.

So these were the five bowlers who had the ability to bat as well, due to which they took their team out of difficult times and impressed people with their bowling as well as batting ability.

🙏Thank you🙏
